I read chapters 1 to 2. This text is non-fiction. In this story the main characters are Diana, Spencer, Sarah, Jane, Charles, Peter Shand - Kydd, King George, Harry, and William.The genre if this text is a biography because they are talking about a real persons life. The setting is in many houses, schools, hospital, castle. The conflict is that Diana did not like to move to London to finish her school exams but when she went there she loved it she had three from her apartment that she lived in.

The author got me interested me when he described when Diana's loves to do art and music because I like to do art and sometimes music.
Relate:
If I could be any character in the text i would be Diana so I would be careful when the paparazzi led to kill her.
Reflect:
This text helped me to learn more about Princess Diana because Diana's life was really interesting to read and learn.
I can tell by your reader response and your biography presentation that you enjoyed learning about Princess Diana. I liked that you made comparisons between your interests and hers. I personally see your love for children as being another similarity between you. :) She was definitely an amazing woman.
ReplyDeleteYour statements in the retell, relate, and reflect sections were all interesting, but I want you to back them up with more sentences. Please try to include at least 2 supporting sentences for each of the statements you write in each section next month. Also look more carefully at the reader response handout/questions I gave you to make sure you are doing the non-fiction section if you read another non-fiction (real events) text. It has you comment on things like photographs, headings, and point of view rather than characters and setting (fictional elements).
